The Aquascape Ultra™ 800 Water Pump (SKU 91007) is a compact, energy-efficient mag-drive pump for small ponds, fountains, spitters, and external filters. Despite the "800" name, its true rated output is 793 GPH with a 9-foot maximum lift — plenty for small water features and low waterfalls. The oil-free magnetic-drive motor draws just 58 watts, so it runs continuously for a fraction of the cost of an older direct-drive pump, and it can't leak oil into your pond.

Is the Ultra 800 really 800 GPH?
"800" is the rounded model name; the actual rated maximum flow is 793 GPH at zero lift. Delivered flow decreases as you raise the water and add pipe length — see the flow-by-height table above. The pump shuts off at about 9 feet of vertical lift.
What size pond or feature is it right for?
It's designed for small ponds, container water gardens, fountains, spitters, external filters, and low waterfalls. As a rough guide it circulates a ~400–800 gallon pond well at low head. For taller waterfalls, longer pipe runs, or bigger ponds, step up to the Ultra 1100, 1500, or 2000.
How much does it cost to run?
It draws 58 watts (0.80 amps at 115V). Running continuously, that's roughly 42 kWh per month — at typical U.S. electricity rates, only a few dollars a month. The mag-drive design is what keeps consumption low compared with older direct-drive pumps.
What tubing sizes does it fit?
The included multi-hose fitting, ½" valve, and threaded elbow adapt the discharge to most ½", ¾", 1", and 1¼" tubing, so it connects to a wide range of fountains, features, and filter plumbing without extra parts.
Can it run a waterfall?
Yes, for small/low waterfalls and spillways. Because flow falls off with height, the Ultra 800 is best for short rises and narrow spillways. For a fuller sheet of water or a taller falls, a higher-GPH pump is the better choice — call us and we'll match the pump to your waterfall width and height.
Is it safe for fish, and does it need much maintenance?
Yes — the oil-free mag-drive motor has no oil that could contaminate the water. Maintenance is minimal: periodically remove the pre-filter cage and rinse away debris. Clean more often in fall when leaves are heavy.
