The BF1600 FilterFalls™ ships with: the enclosure body, two bio-tech filter pads, a media bag for holding loose biological media, a 1.5" FIPT bulkhead fitting, a one-piece liner attachment flange, and an installation hardware kit. What is NOT included in the kit is the biological media that goes inside the media bag — lava rock, bio-balls, or bio-rocks. How do I winterize the PK161015's TT2000 pump?
The TT2000 is an asynchronous submersible pump with a water-cooled rotor. Winterization:
- Remove the pump from the PS3900 skimmer when sustained freezing temperatures arrive.
- Rinse the pump thoroughly — clear the rotor screen of debris and algae.
- Store the pump in a frost-free location (garage, basement) for winter. Do not leave the pump submersed in a freezing pond.
