Installation Tips for the ES66FB
- Location: Avoid low spots where runoff collects. 4–6 hours of sun supports aquatic plants. Position the AS AquaFalls at the highest point of your excavation — the spillway waterfall height will equal the distance between the top of the filter and your pond surface.
- Excavation: Dig a plant shelf 8–10" deep around the perimeter, then excavate the center to 18"–24". The 10'×10' liner gives you plenty of overlap to berm the edges and conceal the AS filter housing.

Its filter brushes catch larger suspended particles before they reach the pump impeller. This is first-stage, physical debris removal.
- AquaFalls™ AS (biological filtration): Contains the biological filter media where beneficial bacteria colonies live and process dissolved fish waste (ammonia) into non-toxic compounds. This is second-stage, chemical/biological water purification.
Together, they form a complete two-stage system: mechanical debris removal (skimmer) + biological waste processing (AquaFalls). Running the pump continuously circulates water through both stages continuously.
