Description
The EasyPro LED23WW is a 23-inch warm white LED strip light designed specifically for use with EasyPro Vianti Falls stainless steel waterfall spillways and other freshwater pond, waterfall, and stream installations. Operating on a safe 12-volt low-voltage system, it illuminates water features from inside spillway channels, tucked into rock crevices, or mounted along stream beds for soft evening accent lighting.
The kit includes the MT10 10-watt transformer for plug-and-play installation and a 15-foot cord between the light and transformer, providing placement flexibility from the power outlet to the water feature. The strip is factory-sealed and waterproof for freshwater use — in or out of the water. Available in a companion cool blue version (LED23CB) for a different visual effect.

Is the EasyPro LED23WW fully waterproof for pond and waterfall use?
Yes — the LED23WW is waterproof and designed for use both in and out of freshwater. It can be installed inside waterfall spillways, submerged along pond edges, tucked into rock crevices in contact with water, or used out of the water for landscape and pathway lighting.
Not approved for: swimming pools, hot tubs, spas, saltwater features, or water containing chlorine or other chemicals. The strip is designed for freshwater pond, waterfall, and stream environments only.
What is the light color and effect of the Warm White LEDs?
The LED23WW produces a warm white glow that enhances the natural earth tones of rocks, stone, and foliage, and creates a soft shimmer on moving water surfaces. The warm tone is specifically selected for landscape and water feature lighting, providing a relaxed evening ambiance without the blue-tinted harshness of cool-white LEDs. Does this 23-inch light strip include a transformer?
Yes. The LED23WW kit includes the EasyPro MT10 10-watt, 12-volt transformer, which provides plug-and-play installation. The transformer includes a 15-foot cord between the light strip and the transformer. Simply connect the strip, run the cord to the transformer, and plug into a standard outdoor outlet for immediate operation.
The LED23WW is also compatible with existing 12-volt low-voltage landscape lighting systems. To install multiple LED23WW strips from a single connection point, the LEDEX Extension Cable (sold separately) is required.
How do I install the LED strip light in a waterfall spillway?
The LED23WW is the designed lighting companion for EasyPro’s Vianti Falls stainless steel waterfall spillways. To install:
- Slide or clip the LED strip into the spillway channel behind the water curtain
- Route the 15-foot cord from the spillway back to the transformer location (away from the water)
- Position the MT10 transformer in a dry, protected location (not submerged)
- Plug the transformer into a GFCI-protected outdoor outlet
The light illuminates from inside the waterfall as water cascades over the weir, creating a backlit glow effect. The strip can also be tucked into rock crevices alongside the falls for accent lighting on surrounding stone.
Can the LED23WW be cut to a shorter length?
No. The LED23WW is a factory-sealed waterproof unit and cannot be cut or shortened. Cutting the strip breaks the watertight sealing and voids the warranty. For installations requiring a shorter light strip, use the LED11WW (11-inch, same MT10 transformer). For wider spillways, consider the LED35WW (35-inch, includes MT20 20-watt transformer).
What is the lifespan and energy consumption of this LED strip?
The LED23WW uses energy-efficient LEDs with a low power draw (the MT10 transformer handles up to 10 watts total). LEDs typically have significantly longer service lives than incandescent or halogen underwater lights, requiring no bulb replacements throughout years of normal use.
