Your Install-Day Sequence
- Build the pond. Set the Signature Series 1000 Skimmer and 2500 BioFalls®, lay the 15'×20' 45-mil EPDM liner over the underlayment, and connect the AquaSurge® adjustable-flow pump with the included 2" PVC and fittings.
- Fill it, then dose Detoxifier first. As you add tap or well water, treat it with Pond Detoxifier (1 pump per 100 gallons) so chlorine, chloramine, and metals can't harm fish or stall your biology.
- Seed Starter Bacteria. Add Pond Starter Bacteria (1 pump per 100 gallons) near the waterfall or skimmer return, and aerate for 24 hours to establish the biological filter.
- Set the Automatic Dosing System and dial in flow. Load the dosing system for ongoing water care and set the adjustable pump's flow for your waterfall.
- Add fish. With conditioned water and seeded bacteria, introduce fish without the usual wait — acclimate slowly and stock conservatively the first season.
