Your Install-Day Sequence
- Build the pond. Set the Signature Series 400 Skimmer and 1000 BioFalls®, lay the 45-mil EPDM liner over the underlayment, connect the AquaSurge® 3000 with the included PVC and fittings.
- Fill it, then dose Detoxifier first. As you add tap or well water, treat it with Pond Detoxifier (1 pump per 100 gallons) so chlorine, chloramine, and metals can't harm fish or stall your biology.
- Seed Starter Bacteria. Add Pond Starter Bacteria (1 pump per 100 gallons) near the waterfall or skimmer return, and aerate for 24 hours to establish the biological filter.
- Set the Automatic Dosing System. Load the kit's dosing system for hands-off ongoing water care through the season.
- Add fish. With conditioned water and seeded bacteria, you can introduce fish without the usual waiting period — acclimate them slowly and stock conservatively the first season.

What order do I use the treatments in?

Can I add fish right away?
